Note: Synthetic organic colorant composed of copper phthalocyanine that was first synthesized in 1933; it was marketed as a paint pigment called Monastral blue. The organic colorant is usually adsorbed on an aluminum hydrate base to form a deep blue color. In industry, phthalocyanine blue has replaced all other blue pigments for use in coatings because it is lightfast as well as resistant to chemicals and clumping.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種合成有機著色劑，以酞菁銅製成，首度合成於西元1933年;做為顏料銷售時採「單星藍」之名。此有機著色劑通常為氫氧化鋁基底所吸收，形成深藍色。工業方面，因為酞菁藍耐光、抗化學侵蝕、不會結塊，所以取代了所有其它用做塗層的藍色顏料。 |
