Note: A cushioning system of cored-out hexagonal recesses developed by Reebok for use in shoes. Its honeycomb structure is made of rubbery thermoplastic urethane. Hexalite has been adapted for use as a support for wallpapers and textiles in museum display.
Dutch ..... Een door Reebok ontwikkeld systeem van uitgeholde zeshoeksvormen, die als kussen fungeren in de schoen. Deze honingraatstructuur wordt gemaakt van een rubberachtig, thermoplastisch urethaan. Hexalite is ook wel aangepast voor het gebruik als ondersteuning voor behang en textiel in musea.
