|
Note: Refers to a style of pottery decoration that existed during the third and second centuries BCE, and was first found at Megara, but later in Attica and numerous other places. It is generally found on bowls, and is characterized by relief decoration on the exterior, created by a combination of wheel work, stamping, and molding. The surface may be covered with glaze that is also ornamented in black or red. Themes are usually of flowers, with occasional figures and narrative scenes. |

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指稱一種陶器裝飾風格,存在於西元前三世紀與西元前二世紀間,首先於美加拉(Megara)地區發展,但是後來亦可見於亞地加與其他許多地方。此種風格一般而言可見於陶碗裝飾上,其特徵為器皿外部的浮雕式裝飾,以結合輪軸壓製法、壓印法,以及製模塑造等方式加以製作。器皿表面可能為釉彩所覆蓋,上飾以黑色或者是紅色彩繪。作品的主題通常是花卉,偶爾可見人像與敘述性的場景。 |
Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een stijl voor het versieren van aardewerk die bestond tijdens de 3de en 2de eeuw v. Chr., en die voor het eerst werd aangetroffen in Megara, maar later ook in Attica en op talloze andere plaatsen. De stijl werd vooral veel gebruikt op schalen en kenmerkt zich door een reliëfdecoratie aan de buitenzijde. Het aardewerk werd deels vervaardigd met behulp van een pottenbakkerswiel en deels met behulp van stempels en mallen. Het oppervlak is soms bedekt met glazuur versierd met rood of zwart. De thematiek van de versieringen is meestal floraal, met af en toe figuren en verhalende taferelen. |
Italian ..... Uno stile di decorazione in ceramica che esisteva durante il terzo e il secondo secolo a.C., e fu trovato per la prima volta a Megara, ma dopo in Attica e in numerosi altri luoghi. Si trova generalmente sulle ciotole ed è caratterizzato da una decorazione in rilievo all'esterno. La superficie può essere coperta di smalto che è anche ornato in nero o rosso. I temi sono generalmente di fiori, occasionalmente con figure e scene narrative. |
Spanish ..... Se refiere un estilo de decoración de cerámica que existió durante los siglos III y II a.C. y que fue encontrada por primera vez en Megara, pero después en Ática y numerosos otros lugares. Generalmente se encuentra en cuencos y se caracteriza por ornamentación en relieve en el exterior, creada por una combinación de torno, estampado y modelado. La superficie puede cubrirse con barniz que también se ornamenta en negro o rojo. Los temas normalmente son flores y ocasionalmente figuras y escenas narrativas. |
