Note: Refers to the culture of the Ojibwa, Algonquian-speaking Indians who historically lived along the northern shore of Lake Huron and both shores of Lake Superior from what is now Minnesota to the Turtle Mountains of North Dakota, as well as from southern Saskatchewan to Quebec in Canada. Today, Ojibwa communities exist in several different tribes across the Great Lakes region in the United States and Canada. |
