About the Tallis Scholars

About Peter Phillips, Director of the Tallis Scholars
Peter Phillips has dedicated his life's work to the research and performance of Renaissance sacred music. He founded the Tallis Scholars in 1973 and works with groups around the world giving master classes and choral workshops. He also directs the Oakham International Summer School, a choral course dedicated to Renaissance music.
Phillips is the author of the recently published What We Really Do, a collection of essays to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Tallis Scholars.
