Explore the birth of modern drawing practice during the Italian Renaissance in the exhibition "From Line to Light: Renaissance Drawing in Florence and Venice."
Use the lesson "Framing the Landscape" to have students build a personal drawing vocabulary by experimenting with materials to create their own unique lines and marks with traditional art media. Then, take students outside where they can use their new repertoire of drawing skills to create original drawings of nature.
