Neurdein Frères (French photography studio and publisher, active late 19th-early 20th centuries in Paris and Canada)

Note: The name Neurdein first appeared in 1863 in Paris in partnership with a photographer named Paris, selling photographs of landscapes, architecture, and sculpture. In 1865 A. Neurdein worked as a photographer and publisher who produced cartes-portraits of celebrities. In 1867 A. Neurdein offered stereoscopic views. In 1868 E. Neurdein appeared in Paris producing historic portraits and views of France, Algeria, and Belgium. Neurdein Fréres commercially published a series of cartes-reproductions of famous paintings ca. 1860s. In 1885, A. Neurdein photographed the cathedral at Amiens. Six years later, the Neurdeins photographed in Switzerland. By the 1890s E. Neurdein was responsible for administration and portraiture while A. Neurdein travelled and photographed for the partnership. In 1907, Neurdein Fréres photographed in Montréal, Canada. A. Neurdein set himself up as a printer-publisher in 1912.
