Ciol, Elio (Italian photographer, born 1929)
|
Note: Ciol is the son of a photographer who held a studio in Casarsa della Delizia (Friuli region). He began practicing photography at the age of fifteen. Ciol concentrates on recording and establishing an archive of Italian works of art, archaeology, architecture and landscape, especially in the region of Friuli. He first photographed Assisi, Italy, in 1951 and continued to photograph there for the remainder of his career. |
