Note: There is debate as to whether or not Arnau Bassa is to be identified with the Master of San Marcos. Arnau seems to have often worked with his father Ferrer on commissions. The well-preserved murals in the S. Miguel Chapel at the Pedralbes Monastery are the most well-known surviving works of the Bassa workshop. |
