Alinari, Romualdo (Italian photographer, 1830-1891)
|
Note: In 1854 Romualdo along with his brothers Leopoldo and Giuseppe created a company called "Fratelli Alinari Fotografi Editori". Located in Florence, the business began by making reproductions of works of art and by taking views of Tuscany, Rome and Pisa. In 1865 Romualdo assumed direction of the studio with Giuseppe upon the death of Leopoldo. He held this position until his death in 1891. |
