Molinos (French architect, 1743-1831)
|
Note: Born 4 June 1743; died 19 February 1831. Architect to the city of Paris during the Empire (ca.1817). In 1829, became a member of the Institute de France, or the Académie de Beaux-Arts. Father and teacher of Auguste Isodore Molinos (1795-1850), architect. Thieme-Becker mentions that Molinos was a student of Blondel, probably Jacques François (1705-1744), architect and teacher at the Academy of Architecture after 1762. French architect. |
