Note: Blindheim is a village located near the Donau River some 10 miles southwest of Donauwörth. It is part of the larger municipality of Blindheim together with four other villages. It is famous as the site of the Battle of Blenhem where the English under Marlborough and Prince Eugene of Savoy defeated the French and Bavarians in 1704 during the War of Spanish Succession.
