In addition to approximately 10 holiday days per year, the Getty's administrative offices are closed every other Friday and most employees do not work (however, the Museum and grounds are open to the public). The majority of staff adheres to an alternate Friday schedule as designated by HR, and call these days off every other week "off-Fridays."

Please note that Getty staff interchange their "Off-Fridays," meaning that only approximately half of the employees are on campus on any given Friday.
