How do I make a hotel reservation? Is there a special conference rate?
A limited number of sleeping rooms have been blocked at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel. To reserve a room at the group rate of $169.00/night (single/double occupancy) + 14.5% tax, please call 213-617-3300 or 1-800-843-6664. In order to obtain the group rate, be sure to mention that you are attending the "WebWise Conference." The cut-off date for the group rate is Friday, January 20, 2006. Reservations will be accepted after this date on a space and rate available basis only. Please note that our room block tends to fill up. Therefore, you are encouraged to make your hotel reservation immediately in order to ensure availability.

Is parking available at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel?
Overnight Guests: Valet Parking is available for $24.00/day (no additional charge for in/out privileges.)

Day Guests: $3.25 per quarter hour, maximum charge $26.00 per visit (no in/out privileges.)

Will high-speed internet access be available at the WebWise Conference?
The Omni Los Angeles offers complimentary high-speed (wired) internet connectivity in all guest rooms. However, the hotel does NOT offer wireless internet access in the meeting rooms or common areas of the property.

A limited number of laptops with high-speed internet connectivity will be available on Thursday and Friday, February 16–17, 2006. The laptops will be available for attendee's use (during conference hours) except during the two (2) scheduled project demonstration periods on Thursday, February 16, 2006.

When and where will the opening reception be held?
The opening reception will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The location is still pending. Details will follow shortly via email. Transportation will be provided if necessary.

Is there a registration fee for attending WebWise 2006? How do I register?

Can anyone attend the Pre-Conference Workshops?
Yes, anyone can attend the pre-conference workshops. However, pre-registration is required and attendance will be limited to 125 guests for each workshop.

How do I register for the Pre-Conference Workshops?
There is no fee to attend the Pre-Conferences. When you register for the overall WebWise Conference, you will have the option to sign up for a morning and/or an afternoon pre-conference workshop. To register, please click on the "Registration" link on the left side of this page. Each workshop will be limited to 125 guests.

What meals will be provided during the conference?
Continental Breakfast will be provided for those who pre-register for the morning pre-conference workshop on Wednesday, February 15, 2006.

Lunch will be provided for those who pre-register for the afternoon pre-conference workshops on Wednesday, February 15, 2006.

The opening reception on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 is open to all pre-registered conference attendees.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided on Thursday, February 16, 2006 for all pre-registered conference attendees.
