Mason, Oscar G. (American photographer and radiographer, died 1921)
|
Note: Mason was the photographer-in-residence at Bellevue Hospital, New York City, New York, from 1856 to 1906. In 1897 with the introduction of X-ray photography, Mason became the hospital radiographer. He also ran a private studio in New York City, New York that specialized in astronomical photography. Mason was the photographer for Helen Campbell's 1897 book entitled "Darkness and Daylight", an exposé of New York's slum areas. |
