Alli, Darogha Ubbas (Indian photographer, active late 19th century)
|
Note: Alli was a retired municipal engineer in Lucknow, India, who began photographing the city and its environs in the 1870s. In 1874, he published fifty of these images in "The Lucknow Album". In 1880, Alli published "An Illustrated Historical Album of Rajas and Taaluqdars of Oudh", an album of photographs of the landed gentry of the province. |
