|
Note: In 1851, Arnaud was a founding member of the Société héliographique. Ca. 1855, Arnaud taught photographic processes to another photographer, Nadar. In 1854, Arnaud began to collaborate with the optician and optical instrument maker, Auguste-Adolphe Bertsch on photographic experiments. In 1857, Arnaud and Auguste-Adolphe Bertsch opened a commercial portrait studio in Paris called "Bertsch et Arnaud". Bertsch retired from the business in 1863. |
