Delpire, Robert (French editor, publisher, and curator, 1926-2017)
|
Note: Delpire founded Delpire & Co., which continued as Éditions Delpire, which published prominent 20th-century photographers. Delpire also ran an advertising agency, a photography gallery, and a film production company; in 1982 he became director of the Centre national de la photographie in Paris. He was the first to publish Robert Frank's "The Americans." |
