Note: Born 31 August 1897; died 22 February 1981. Hans Haffenrichter studied sculpture at the Bauhaus, Weimar, Germany, from 1921 to 1924. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1925. He was Director of 'Weg' Art School, Berlin, Germany, in 1927, and taught at various schools in Elbing, Berlin, Heidelberg, and Wiesbaden, Germany. Haffenrichter worked on the chemicals area of the 1934 Deutsches Volk-deutsche Arbeit exhibition, Berlin, Germany.
