Roche, Martin (American architect, 1853-1927)
|
Note: Roche attended the Art Institute of Chicago (left 1867) and apprenticed as a carpenter before receiving his architectural training in the office of William Le Baron Jenney (started 1872). In 1881, he became a partner with William Holabird and Ossian C. Simonds in the architectural firm Holabird, Simonds & Roche (later Holabird & Roche). Roche was a fellow of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the Board of Art Advisors of Illinois, and a member of Western Association of Architects. American architect. |
