Sadiqi (Persian calligrapher, born 1533 or 1534)
|
Note: Sadiqi contributed to the last major manuscript for Tahmasp (reigned 1524-1576) known as a copy of Garshāspnāma (1573-1574). He fought at the Battle of Astarabad and was appointed as the head of Qazvin's royal library by Shah 'Abbas (reigned 1588-1629). He was later on commissioned to put together a copy of the Shāhnāma. |
