Hamilton, Gerald (German architect, born 1923, active in England and Canada)
|
Note: Hamilton moved to Britain and studied at the School of Architecture at Leeds University from 1940 to 1943. He joined the British Army from 1943 to 1947 and moved to Vancouver in 1950. There he worked for S&TBP in 1950. From 1952 to 1970 he was a partner in Gerald Hamilton and Associates. From 1972 to 1994 he was a partner in Hamilton Doyle Architects, and a partner in Hamilton Wensley from 1994. He was made an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects and a Member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia in 1950. He was made a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada in 1971. |
