Note: Bílek, a sculptor and architect, left the Prague Academy of Fine Arts and studied privately with Maudr. He was admitted in 1891 to the Colarossi Academy in Paris, and subsequently travelled throughout Germany, Austria, and Italy. He exhibited for the first time in Prague, 1908.
