Note: A critic personally involved in the Manhattan art world of the 1960s: an early proponent of the Minimalist movement. He was the author of monographs on Christo (1972), Alexander Calder (1980) and Andy Warhol (1989). He has written about assisting Warhol in creating his series of Elvis paintings. |
