Doshi, Balkrishna V. (Indian architect and designer, 1927-2023)

Note: Doshi worked as a senior designer with Le Corbusier in Paris, for major buildings in Chandigarh and Ahmedabad, India, from 1951-57. Doshi was also associated with Louis I. Khan from 1962 until the latter's death in 1972, and carried to completion Kahn's Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad. He was in private practice, as Vastu-Shilpa, in Ahmedabad from 1956-1977. Since 1977, he has been the Senior Partner, with Joseph Allan Stein and Jai Rattan Bhalla, in the firm Stein Doshi and Bhalla, Ahmedabad and New Delhi, India.
