Langlois, Jean Charles (French painter and military officer, 1789-1870)

Note: Langlois was a colonel in the French army who was charged with painting and photographing scenes from the Crimean War from 1855 to 1856. Langlois worked with Léon Méhédin and Freidrich von Martens to produce a presentation album for the French Emperor. It was Martens who printed all of Langlois negatives.
