In 1919, he joined the firm of Brown and Vallance in Montréal, and entered practice on his own behalf in 1920. With Harold Robert Little, he formed Lawson and Little in 1922, and with Randolph C. Betts in 1949, Lawson and Betts. Canadian architect.
