|
Note: Sobotka co-founded the interior decorating firm "Haus und Garten & Co." in Vienna, Austria, in 1925 with Josef Frank and Oskar Wlach. The firm was renamed "Haus & Garten, Frank & Wlach" in 1926 after Sobotka withdrew from the partnership. Sobotka emigrated to the United States in 1938 where he taught at the Carnegie Institute of Technology (later Carnegie Mellon University), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Austrain designer, architect. |
