Note: The Abu Tahir family is traced back to Abu Tahir ibn Abi Husayn (Abu Tahir ibn Muhammad Hamza ibn al-Hasan). It was native to Kāshān, a major center of pottery in medieval Irān. The family produced pottery from the pre-Mongolian period. |
