Markovitch, Leonora L. (Polish architect, 1907-1970, active in Canada from 1941)
|
Note: Markovitch studied at Warsaw Polytechnic from 1926 to 1931. She was in private practice in Warsaw from 1930 to 1935. She was an Architect in the Technical Department of the Workers' Settlement Program in Warsaw from 1935 to 1939. She moved to Canada in 1941 and worked for S&TBP from 1942 to 1947, and W.K. Noppe from 1947 to 1949. Markovitch had her own private practice from 1949 until her death in 1970. Member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia 1949. |
