Muhammad ibn Abi Tahir (Persian potter, active ca. 1206-1215)
|
Note: One of his earlier works is a panel at the shrine of Fatima in Qum. This object is characterized by narrow inscriptions and attention to detail. During his career he collaborated with Abu Zayd on several projects. In 1206 he completed a frieze dated on the sides of the Fatima cenotaph, Qum. He was also responsible for the luster decoration for the shrine of Imam Riza, Mashad. |
