|
Note: Artist and wife of Jordanian prince. Her art is based in the tradition of Arabic calligraphy; includes themes of universal tragedy, particularly the tragic events in Arab history which took place in Carbala in the seventh century. She has published books on contemporary Islamic art and art in Jordan. She is also the director and founder of the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts. |
