Palma, Jacopo, il giovane (Italian painter, ca. 1548 - 1628)

Note: Palma Giovane adopted a Mannerist style after spending time in Rome ca. 1567 to ca. 1575. When he returned to Venice, he was also influenced by the works of Veronese and Tintoretto. He was the leading artist in Venice after 1594, receiving commissions from the Venetian government, the Counter-Reformation clergy, and patrons throughout Italy and abroad.s Italian artist.
