Heschler, David (German wood and ivory carver, 1611-1667)
|
Note: Heschler collaborated with his father and teacher, Sigmund Heschler on figures of the high altar of the former Klosterkirche at Buxheim. Heschler (the younger) became known for individual, small-scale figures. His work demonstrates the influence of 16th-century Italian and Dutch sculpture. |
