Note: Finnish glass manufactory founded in 1793 in the village of Nuutajärvi by Captain Jacob Wilhelm De Pont and Harald Furuhjelm. The company established itself as driving the development of modern Finnish design during the early 20th century. In 1988 Nuutajärvi merged with Iittala Glasshouse to form the Iittala–Nuutajärvi Co. |
