Archinard, Édouard (French painter and poet, died before 1918)
|
Note: Identified in Bénézit as a painter born late 19th century and killed in World War I, recent scholarship has speculated that Archinard may be a fictional persona invented by Arthur Cravan. There is a poem signed by Archinard published in Cravan's revue 'Maintenant,' 1912, and further mention of him two years later in the same revue, as a painter, and friend of Cravan's. |
