Castiglioni, Enrico (Italian architect, born 1914)
|
Note: Italian architect, engineer, and author graduated from the Politecnico di Ingegneria, Milan 1934. His work focused on construction techniques related to reinforced concrete membranes. His first major project was for the Esposizione Internazionale del Tessile (1952). He designed many churches, and was adept at the articulation of large open spaces. His work shows affinities with England's Brutalist movement. Italian architect. |
