Note: He studied at the Tōkyō Geijutsu Daigaku (Tokyo University of the Arts). Among other awards, he received the prize of the 10th Biennial of São Paulo (1969). At the beginning, in Japan, he made figurative paintings. In Brazil, his work tended to informalism, with geometric forms showing the gestures that created them. Subsequently, he dedicated himself to op art. More recently, he produced sculptures made for large spaces.
