Note: Born 14 May 1912; died 24 July 1986. Studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Marseille and the Ecole nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris (1929-1934). Chief architect for the reconstruction of the Vieux Port de Marseille, and architect/consultant to the Minister of Construction and Urbanism for the departments of Vaucluse, Bass.es-Alpes and Hautes-Alpes (1951). Worked in Algeria (1965-1984) for the Algerian Minister of Tourism. Named (1984) "Officier de la Légion d'Honneur" by François Mitterrand. French architect. |
