|
Note: Louis-André Breton, along with his brother André, was among the first daguerreotypists in Paris in 1839. The Breton brothers manufactured optical instruments as well as instruments for physics, chemistry, and mathematics, at their studio at rue Servandoni 4, Paris. They also operated a shop where they sold instruments and daguerreotypes, at rue du Petit-Bourbon 9. |
