Warren, George K. (American photographer, born 1824 or 1834, died 1884)
|
Note: Johnson gives year of birth as 1824; GEH gives 1834. Warren practised photography in Lowell, Massachusetts from 1851 to 1870. He moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1870, and opened a second studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1873. During the 1860s, Warren published a series of cartes-de-visite of Cambridge, Watertown, Concord, and Lexington, Massachusetts. Warren was also one of the first photographers to specialize in graduating-class photographs in the Boston area. |
