Halldin, Oscar (Swedish photographer, 1873-1948)
|
Note: Before 1898, Halldin learned photography from Herman Hamnqvist in Karlskrona, and at the firm of Leverin & Co., Stockholm. In 1896, Halldin became the manager of the photographic firm of Axel Lindahl, and in 1911, he took over the business. In 1912, Halldin became the Swedish court photographer. Halldin was quite likely in partnership with Ernest Florman in the firm "Florman & Halldin" active in Stockholm in the early 20th century. Both photographers are discussed in Sidwall and Wigh, though no mention is made of and official partnership. |
