Lüttgen, Hans Heinz (American and German architect and painter, 1895-1976)
|
Note: Lüttgen graduated from the Humanistic Gymnasium. He received training in art and architecture at the Düsseldorf Royal Academy. He maintained an architectural firm in Cologne, Germany, until 1939 when he moved to Switzerland where he worked for a time on community planning. From 1942 to 1948 he practiced architecture in Brazil. Under the auspices of the International City Planning Conference, Lüttgen came to the United States in 1948 and remained there to continue his work in architecture, community planning and industrial design. From 1955 he devoted himself entirely to painting. |
