Note: The town of Grevenbroich is located in the district of Düsseldorf in the northwest German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Historically it was ruled by the counts of Jülich and the bishops of Cologne. Its economy is based on the manufacture of aluminum products and textiles. The Allies captured it in March 1945.
