Note: Bronze Age archaeological site in the northwest of Failaka consisting of three distinct mounds. Two of these mound lie within the boundaries of a modern Islamic cemetery and thus cannot be excavated. The excavation of the third mound has yielded a number of discoveries including: Dilmun pottery, seals, metal objects, steatite objects, and various uses for stones, shells, and bitumen. The site has also yielded archaeozoological and archaeobotantical findings.
