Note: Located at a ht of 454.5 m on the hill Kapilas, associated with 'Kailas,' legendary abode of Shiva; a flight of 1351 steps & a ghat road lead to the temple which dominates the landscape; the main temple is 18.8 m high & may be ascribed to Narasimhadev II in the early 14th cen.; fine wood carvings are found in the Audience Hall & Hall of Offering; E of the main temple are the temples of Narayana & Vishwanath.
