Note: Technically an archipelago made of other small islands and cays, Andros Island is located west of New Providence Island, on Great Bahama Bank. It is treated as the nation's largest island and contains several political districts. The chief towns are on the east coast and include Morgan's Bluff, Moxey Town, and Andros Town. The western shore is a long, low, barren area.
