Note: Ancient burial mound field that is part of a proposed serial property of 11 sites in western Bahrain. This field contains mainly Late Type (ca. 2050-ca. 1600 BCE) burial mounds, including the group of very large "Royal Mounds" at the north end of the field. Together with the modern city of Ali, with which it overlaps, this mound field represents a unique cultural landscape that is included in the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites under the heading "Burial Ensembles of Dilmun and Tylos."
