Note: Nelahozeves is a village on the Vltava River, north of Prague. It is known for its castle, an imposing Renaissance chateau built on the left bank of the Vltava River in the second half of the 16th century, and housing a collection of fine European paintings and furniture. The village is the birthplace of the famous composer Antonín Dvořák, whose former home is a short distance from the castle. |
