Note: Qom is a province in central Iran, bordering the provinces of Tehrān, Eṣfahān, and Markazī. The province is a major center of Shi'ism because of the provincial capital's historical association with Fatimah, the sister of 'Ali ar-Rida. The province also houses the largest Islamic school in Irān.
